I'm on a mission, on a mission to be fit.

If you are reading this, then it's nice to meet you. I haven't shared this blog with friends or family, so if you have somehow stumbled upon it...lucky you.  Or wait, after you see my before pics...maybe not so lucky you.  I created this blog to "journal" my progress so that I'm accountable to....the interwebs!

Why the fight to be fit?  For me it has always been a fight, maybe different than yours.  I am not obese, and some might even say I'm not overweight. According to this chart, I'm not doing that terrible, but I am not happy with my body.  I aspire to be healthier and appear more toned.  So again you ask, why the fight?  Plain and simple. I just don't make it a priority.  I am a mom with a husband and a career and that is where my extra time goes.  Who am I kidding?  Extra time?

I'm also a survivor. A breast cancer survivor.  I know what you are thinking, "but you are so young." Yep.  I get that all the time.  I was diagnosed at 28 years old.   I was in the best shape that I had been in since high school.  THEN BAM!  Chemo put on some weight...  Ok, more than some.
 

So I canNOT believe I am about to do this.  But here it goes.  No turning back now.  I started the 24 day challenge from Advocare today. The first 10 days are a cleanse phase and the last 14 days are a max phase.  Stay tuned for more to come on my mission to get fit.
